I was about 12 and I got a haircut that was perilously close to my “toddler cut” – a too-short bob with bangs halfway down my forehead that did nothing for my square, wide face. I was so mad I kicked a wall – and because I kicked it in between the studs, my foot went straight through the drywall. I think my mother understood, because she didn’t even punish me – just got the wall patched.

I know this comment is so late, but I was ALSO late to my own engagement because of a Drybar mishap! My husband and I laugh about it now, but I completely ghosted him at our drinks meetup before getting engaged because of a blowout that took what felt like LITERAL YEARS.
