It’s a deep blue, without being as inky as navy, and it makes the room feel cozy and enveloping but sophisticated. It is also the colour we used for our four year old son’s room, and it is a great backdrop against the brighter colours (and homemade art) in there.

I also love Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner pencils…they go on smoothly, last and last, and so many cool colors!
As for authors, Alice Hoffman has been my favorite for years…She’s best known for her Practical Magic series, which I love…….rich characters that unfold and grow over the years. But she’s written many more…Illumination Night, Turtle Moon, Faithful, Blackbird House……so much mystic realism goodness!
