Piper wants to be different from her family. The truth is, if you’re rich you can’t pretend you’re poor. You’re always going to have money. So even though she’s not decked in Chanel. She could be. I think that’s part of what she’s probably feeling now after episode 7. Now that lochlan wants to join her. She’s creeped out but also realizing how silly it seems.

I loved this, too! We lived in VA Beach for a few years and I had the same thought!
