It feels special enough for Christmas dinner, but easy enough for a normal Tuesday night. Every time I make it my kids say “THIS IS THE BEST CHICKEN EVER!” It does take some time to prep, and 90 minutes to cook, but is worth every minute.

Update: I made this recently and it was delightful! So easy, tasty, and novel for my recipe rotation!

It’s a fun project you can both do together and learn new cooking skills. My kids had a blast!

Do you have to melt the candle first to stir in essential oils? Or do you just drop them on top (away from the flame) to gradually melt into the widening pool of wax?
