I have faced similar challenges as you. Usually I’ll just buy something bigger so it fits my chest … and then if it’s super oversized everywhere else, I’ll tuck it in or tie the excess in a knot in the front. I have a few pieces from Sezane – and yeah, with button downs it’s the same ol story. Probably the best bit is to get the bigger size to fit your chest and then take the top to a good tailor.

A great slow fashion brand with inclusive sizing is Harly Jae – https://harlyjae.com/ They are a small Canadian brand. They do a lot of pre orders, so they don’t over produce. Their Instagram is great because they do a bunch videos and walk through of the clothing. I especially love the Wyn and Pierrot pants and the House Blouse. I have several pieces and they fit so nice. Nam, I appreciate your comment! Although I do at times still buy something new, I’m making an effort to cut overconsumption and your suggestions here are great! I also think Jo does an excellent job of spreading awareness about important matters, but we can always use the extra reminder and I appreciate it. Thank you. Also, remember what we are modeling for our kids (if we have them)! I watched “Buy Now” with my two kids and we were all disgusted. This isn’t sustainable.
