this is so cute :)
I am French and have never felt more seen. This is literally my weekend ! I go to the public library before going to the farmers’ market and buy a baguette on my way back. And I have an apéro at my place with friends too!
This reminded me of a grocery shop I did recently with my 18 year old daughter. As we were walking to the car, in one hand she had a baguette, the other a bunch of tulips and dressed so classic. I had to take a photo from behind. I said to her you are not of this suburb.. you belong in Paris.
Excellent! Beau programme! It looks like mine, although I read my library book in bed this morning, and I’ll go to the little cinema in my town to see a French movie, “A Bicyclette”! Love from Annecy.
After reading your comment I went back to planning our summer holiday in Morzine and realised Annecy is close? Looks like a lovely place to visit! Any special recommendations? :-)
Mais oui ! Absolutely spot on, yes to baguette, bibliothèque and apéro! Grace has quite perfectly captured it!
Parfait !
Completely right! Week end cannot start without friday night’s apero! Love from Paris
Agnes, I must say, I’ve been wanting to tell you for awhile now that I love your ” Love from Paris ” sign off !! It always makes me smile !!
:-)
As a French person I feel seen! I have now converted my Canadian husband to the joys of apero. And my daughter loves it to (she has juice in case you were wondering!)
yes and:
if we’re gonna keep trying to be like ~chic french girls~ let’s learn to protest and strike like them for the love of god
Qui! Qui!
Qui Qui !
In the latest 8th of March march, so many women had signs against Trump, in solidarity with you, always. And also my colleagues (English professors) make sure our students read the banned books, it’s a whole subject! Love from Paris (we’re not chic, it’s a myth)
I would like this as a poster, so it could remind me to do exactly that every weekend here in the US!
A peu près ça!!! aka Sounds about rigth:))
