I’ll never forget when my sister turned 30, and my then 7yo nephew (her son) went “Do you like being 30?” And when she said yes, followed it so innocently with, “That means like…70 more years until you go to heaven.” I nearly choked on my drink. Hahahaha.

A little girl at the store asked me if a balancing bird toy worked via “skin magnets.” I loved seeing her make this leap.

I love this and cannot wait to read this book. My six year old daughter asks many origin questions at bedtime and many leave me without decent answers, here’s one below and she asks a similar question about the first teacher (who taught them?!).
“Who was the first baby’s mommy? If you were in mom moms belly, and she was in her moms belly, who took care of the first baby?”
